We’re glad you are interested in McDonough Christian Church! Here is some helpful information to get you connected to MCC! Be sure to fill out our connect card so we can get in touch with you and schedule a time to chat over a cup of coffee!
Our worship services draw us into the presence of God where we can respond to the grace given to us through Jesus Christ. We also have fun and safe environments for children, middle & high school students to experience Jesus as well! Our gatherings are a great place to get a feel for our church and to begin getting connected with others.
We meet each week to “…worship Him in spirit and in truth” [John 4:24] as a family of believers. Our worship services draw us into the presence of God where we can respond to the grace given to us through Jesus Christ. Our expressions of worship include singing, instrumental praise, commitment, praying, preaching, giving, baptism, meditation, communion, drama, and dance. Children’s Ministry programs are offered for children, birth through 5th grade, and Student Ministry programs are offered for middle and high school students.
Each Sunday our kids meet at The Road for their very own high-energy worship time, as well as their very own age-appropriate community groups! We also have a nursery available for children birth – two years old.
Students are invited to take the next step in their spiritual journey as the study God’s Word with other students and look to apply it to life today. Join us for breakfast, and then dive into one of our STUDENT CAMPUS GROUPS (MS and HS groups available). Students are then encouraged to worship with their families during the 11:00 am worship experience.
Discover how you can be a part of something bigger than yourself. COME. FOLLOW. LEAD. Come connect with Student Impact’s student-led environment. Connect with God and others students through music, games, talks, and small group discussions. Hang with us each week from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The Student Cafe stays open late on the last Wednesday of the month.
Our kids have their very own, special Wednesday Night programming as well. Kids Wednesday Night programming is for all children birth – 5th grade. Here our kids encounter God each week through worship, teaching, and Kids’ Community Groups (small groups).
We believe in the value of meeting in small groups just as much as we believe in meeting together in a large group for corporate worship. We call our small groups “community groups” because in them we build a sense of community.Find a Group
We also want every person at MCC who desires to serve in some capacity to have a space where they can become fully involved. We have many ministry teams and mission partnerships with opportunities for individuals to serve. These groups help meet the needs of those within the church, in the community, and around the world while calling others into a discipleship relationship with Christ.Learn More
