Who is Jesus?

John 1:4-5

In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

LIFE – zóé

Life in its fullest sense, encompassing both physical and spiritual dimensions.

Physical & Spiritual

LIGHT – Reveal & Revive

LIGHT = LIFE

DARK  = DEATH

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life

Ephesians 5:8 for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.

You have to be spiritually born and spiritually alive.

1 John 1:5-7

This is the message we have heard from him (Jesus) and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 5:11

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Luke 1:78-79

“because of the tender mercy of our God,whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high 79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
