If Jesus leaves, what does that mean for me?

Pax Ramona (Roman peace) was won by the sword and conquering. The Jews messianic peace was rumored to be even greater. Instead, it was secured by an innocent man who suffered and died at the hands of the Romans, the Jews, and all of us.

God doesn’t always clue us in on His plans, but He still gives us His help & His peace. This is why the Holy Spirit was given.

Eirene – Greek word for peace that also means wholeness or oneness.

Merimna – Greek word for anxiety that also means pulled in multiple directions.

The world will over-promise peace and always under-deliver.

Our hearts should be so encaptured by His love, that true peace in Christ is the fence that keeps everything else out.

Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
