Freedom is not the power to do whatever you want, it’s the power to do whatever God wants through the power of His Spirit.
“The most dangerous place to be is halfway to Christ. Inclined to Jesus, inclined to truth about Jesus, wanting what Jesus provides, and what he offers, but not willing to give into the full demands that he lays on the sinner, and the truth about Jesus – wanting what Jesus provides, and what he offers, but not willing to give into the demands that he lays on the sinner of repentance and faith in him, declaration of his Lordship, turning towards righteousness.” J.C. Ryle
