John || His Sheep Hear His Voice
John 10:1 – Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.
John 10:2 – But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
John 10:3 – To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
John 10:4 – When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
The pen = protection
The pasture = provision
Hebrews 10:19 – Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great prieest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
John 14:26 – But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
“Spirit, remind me of and guide me to the words of Jesus I need to hear right now.”
John 10:5 – A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”
DISCERNMENT
