Hebrews 2:10
  -

Hebrews 2:10
For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

Founder = archégos – pioneer, author, captain, leader

Perfect = teleioó – to bring to an end, to complete, to finish

God’s word was sufficient for creation, but the Word (Jesus) had to become flesh for salvation.

Creation reveals his character. Salvation reveals his heart.

Hebrews 7:25
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

If suffering is a sign of solidarity with Him, let us suffer well.
