Are You Qualified?
Mark 2:13-17
1. Who do you relate to the most in this passage – Matthew or the Pharisees?
2. Why do we, as men, tend to define ourselves and each other by what our job is?
3. We see again in the calling of Matthew that Jesus rarely calls the “qualified.” Instead, Jesus qualifies the called. What encouragement does this bring you?
4. Think about the roles Jesus has called you into. (Husband, father, serving rolls at church, singleness, your job, etc…) How qualified do you feel for what he has called you to be?
