Kenya Mission Trip

Kenya is an East African country facing many challenges. The Maasai communities in rural Narok County face threats to their livelihood from land use restructuring, food and water insecurity, and extreme poverty. McDonough Christian Church partners with AfricaHope, a Christ-centered ministry in Narok, Kenya committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and changing lives through truth and hope. Ministry leader, Tim Mantai, and his team serve Maasai communities in rural Kenya offering support through food and water security education, family sponsorships, church planting, Community Health Evangelism (CHE), and care for orphans and vulnerable children.

MCC will be taking a team of 12 to visit AfricaHope Kenya in June of 2024, and here’s how you can support the team!

• Pray for the team and AfricaHope as we prepare to go and during our trip.
• Pray for provision of the needed funds and for the children we go to serve.
• Provide a meal for one of our meetings.
• Ask your campus or community group to partner with members of our team.
