Loving Hands
What is Loving Hands?
The mission of Loving Hands is to show the love of Christ to those with pre-mature or ill babies in the hospital.
The main focus of our ministry is to make developmental items for the NICU patients in the local hospitals in our area. We also make hats and head coverings for our local cancer center, and make dresses and pants to send with MCC's mission teams to Haiti. We also sew, knit, and crochet a variety of other times depending on the need, like prayer quilts, for those who are seriously ill or for church members who are going through a difficult time.
With every item we make, we send a written scripture to encourage those going through a difficult time of transition and/or loss. We do this to encourage and give hope, hope that is found in the person of Jesus.
We meet the second Friday and fourth Monday each Month at 9:30 AM in the "Loft" at McDonough Christian Church. We welcome anyone to come. It is not necessary to know how sew, knit or crochet. We can use anyone who has two “Loving Hands”.
