What are Campus Groups?
At McDonough Christian Church, we think studying the Bible is very important for our spiritual maturity. Campus groups are similar to community groups where we share life together through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer, but instead of meeting in members' homes, campus groups meet in classrooms in our church building. Here are some of our campus groups:
Sunday mornings at 9:15a:
Disciples Group
We are a group of mostly middle-aged believers, meeting for prayer, Bible study, discipleship, and Christian fellowship. Our class is taught by Andy Daugherty and we meet in FL206 located in the hallway behind the Worship Center.
BASICS Class
We are a group that meets to grow in our walk with Jesus Christ and glean from each other’s experiences, knowledge, and insights to be His disciples and make disciples. We welcome adults of all ages. Our class is taught by Greg Peterson and we meet in FL202 located in the hallway left of the Worship Center.
Sunday mornings at 11:00a:
HOPE Class
We are a group of mostly senior adults who come together to study and learn God’s Word and how to effectively put His truths into practice. Our class is taught by Burch & Janice Wright in FL202 located in the hallway left of the Worship Center.
Christian Workers Class
We are a senior adult group that strives to build community through fellowship, prayer, and the study of God’s Word. Our class is taught by Bruce Wood and we meet in FL206 located in the hallway behind the Worship Center.
