God is calling you to see Him for who He really is instead of who you want Him to be.

We have partially yielded expectations of what life is supposed to be like once I start following Jesus.

Take Heart – Tharseo – means to take courage, be of good cheer (or be comforted in), confident  in

Tribulation – Thlipsis – means to incredible pressure, affliction, or anguish.

Overcome – Nikao – means to subdue, prevail, or conquer in the face of adversity – explicitly implies struggle or a battle

Faith is not merely belief and intellectual but a Spirit-enabled participation in Christ’s triumph practically.

Jesus shows us what perfect obedience to the Father looks like and empowers us to do the same, no matter what we go through.
