Ephesians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.
-Who is US?
-Chosen in Him = The faithful in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:1)
-How did HE choose US?
-Who chose who?
-Calvinism vs Arminianism
Romans 8:29-30
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
-Why did HE choose US?
-Holy = Hagios -> Set apart for/to God
1 Timothy 2:3-5
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
