Community Groups

At McDonough Christian Church, we believe in the value of meeting in small groups just as much as we believe in meeting together in a large group for corporate worship. We call our small groups “Community Groups” because in them we build a sense of community.

The early church met in both a large group setting as well as in their homes (Acts 2:42-47). Disciples of Jesus are meant to live the Christian life in community. Our Community Groups share life together through fellowship, Bible study, prayer, ministry, and accountability. Groups of typically 8-12 individuals meet regularly in homes so that Jesus Christ is experienced in His presence and power in the context of authentic relationships.

If you want to understand more about our community groups or if you are ready to make a commitment to participate in a group weekly in your area, please fill out the form below. Someone will contact you to discuss next steps.
